Doad story mode slap counter

I had to bring this topic up just because I wanted to know other peoples opinions on it;
On the story mode of doad there was a surprising amount of slapping. I don't know if I ignored it in previous series but for some reason it seemed like there was an awful lot of bitch slapping in this game.
I know you beat each other up on the game anyway so it's pointless to say I think it's wrong I just thought it was a bit over the top when jann lee knocked liefang across a table or whatever, as a user watching this I wasnt in control and I felt it shouldn't have been in the story :/... Even though it was mildly funny when Elliot got slapped

Yeah, there were loads of slapping and brutal scenes in DOAD, which some of them were over the top but funny at the same time. To me, most of the scenes in the game shouldn't really have been in this game or wasn't really any need for them to be in it, seeing how it didn't relate to the story. I just remembered when Hayabusa slapping kasumi in the face because Kasumi wanted to find Ein/Hayate lool. I don't think there were much brutal scenes in the previous DOA games.

I am hoping in DOA5 that, there isn't as much slapping/unnecessary parts like there was in DOAD.

lol sounds like they were trying to inject some humour into the story cutscenes but ran out of ideas.
I haven't played DOAD so I can't comment on it anymore than that.

DOA5 will definitely be more serious
you only have to look at the recent graphical changes to the characters and the interviews.

I find the slapping to be really funny lol. My favorite one was when Ayane slap Eliot and than later Gen Fu started laughing priceless

Yeah maybe we should do a "what is your favorite slapping scene?" poll. XD

When Ayane slapped Ein and he thanked her I was like "What the hell?!" Oo

^^ lol that would be funny i can't get enough of that scene every time i see it i and i'm on the ground laughing my head off lol. I would not mind seeing a slap scene in DOA5 it would be priceless.

But in all seriousness though, I prefer to see less slaps in the story for the next game. I still do believe that some of the slaps were way over the top and I don't want to end up thinking that doa5 is a slapping carnage if you guys know I mean lool

But isn't that already Ayane's combos? her basic punch combo is a series of slaps. . .spinning slaps at that. . .maybe she was beating up eliot >^_^<
