I wonder how many people from FSD will be going to Rev's Walthamstow casual event in a few weeks time?

| If you guys are registered on FSD, then you might as well confirm in the thread that you're coming just in case or just click on that button on top of the thread to make a quick confirmation if you don't feel like commenting.
edit: I hope you won't mind, Rev, but I made thread for the weekly turn up. If there are any updates, I'll add em to the OP or you can make a post as an announcement.

| Rev, Back Dragon is wondering if you could put these up for weekends. Personally, I got work from Wed to Fri and study for the rest of the week and BD is old school, so he probably has work too. You know BD, right? The guy's been around since 05, 06. It would be useful to have him on for casuals. | |

If the event is successful, then I will try and hold another one. However, It won't be weekly I'm afriad. Instead, it will be Monthly, what Nitro said.

| Thanks for coming everyone. I guess I ended up having more fun with SC4 than DOA4, even if our limbs and heads were flying everywhere. Nitro, you gotta block more, bro. Knowing the frame data would help too, then again Helena's is pretty quick. I'd also like to give a big lazy 'fuck you' for Itagaki for making such a broken ass game (never ever make another fighting game ever again). Here is another one for making Bass such a shitty character. And here's John Lennon after playing SC Oh yeah, forgot to sign up for Neoempire. | |

Its cool, I hope your friends get well soon If you're still in London until next week, you might want to check out the Native Gaming casual event on the 15th, I think Rev will be going too but I doubt you will see anyone playing any DOAs there... @UncleKitchener yeh my defense has lot of holes in it, I was struggling to get the correct hold inputs so I tried to compromise by attacking more to get counters That must have been the first time I played DOA(4) seriously against good human opponents, it was a very useful experience for me How about Soul Calibur 5? Are you planning to get it?

| I'm definitely planning on playing SC5. Also, guys, if you have XBOX (for doa3) and X360 controllers, bring em in next times since the controllers in the venue were pretty old and the Dpads were really horrible for the 360. I'll bring in my Xbox for some DOA3 next time. We'll play some 3.2 first. I'll mod the xbox later when I get my hands on a cheap copy of 3.1. I would suggest this as it's the best option for an Xbox controller. Small and workable. | |

| ^^ you can find a cheap copy of DOA3.1 on ebay and you wont be disappointed man DOA3.1 is 10X times better than 3.2 i really hope DOA5 is similar 3.1. @Nito thanks compared to Monday their starting to feel much better today so that's good news. | |

I'll cover the costs, just give me your shipping address once you get it modded. Hit me up over at FSD. Wow I'm not allowed to post links (that I was quoting) :-/, but yes the Controller S is by far the best Xbox controller. I would actually go on record of saying it's a better d-pad than the Saturn pad. Too bad Microsoft couldn't get their shit to work for the 360 (put too much suction on it). I used to modify the 360 ones to put in an Xbox S d-pad in there.

I think I also have to get copy of splinter cell or other games that let you do modding to work on the xbox.

| Let me know when you have the game you need (Splintercell, Agent Under Fire, or Mech Assault). None of them should be the Platinum Hits version.
I have the mod installer for you whenever you're ready depending on the game.
