| I just realised there isnt a topic for this yet Official posters: Website: www.YorkshireCarnage.co.uk - Quote :
- Dead or Alive 4 (360)
Tournament begins @ 12:00 pm
* Registration fee: Free
* Prizes : Trophy for winner * Special prizes : To be confirmed
* Matches per set : Best 2 of 3 * Rounds per match: 3 (best of 5) * Time : 60 seconds * Life Meter : Normal
* Stage : Random * Banned stage : Experimental Playground (return to the Character Select menu) * Dangerzones : On (except for Gambler's Paradise or Savanna Safari)
* Characters : All allowed Possibly the first and last DOA4 tournament of this scale we can expect to see in UK DOA4 tournament will take place early in the day at 12pm so it would probably be a good idea for people to come as early as possible for some casuals because I really doubt there will be many opportunities to play DOA at a later time Tournament will be 1vs1 with double elimination format, free entry, and a trophy for the winner. I can also tell you the "Special Prizes" for the tournament will be A3 sized DOA5 posters of Hitomi and Ayane, at the very least. I will be there since I'm helping out with the organisation and I already have a good idea of who else from here might or might not be coming but for the sake of our invisible guests I need to ask this question publicly: who else will be coming?

| That's cool the last time we had a a major tournament in Germany was like 2007 or 2008. Hopefully their will be people that want to play DOA4. So will the DOA4 tournament be streamed? | |

| Welp, might as well fucking shoot myself.
But seriously, I'm going anyway for SC5 and T6, so might as well show off my pro skills in the game (which is not much at all).
Rev isn't gonna make it since he's going to another SC5 event.
So, that leaves me, sonic and Nitro.
@Sonic: No idea about streaming. Maybe they will, maybe they won't.

| You should also think about playing more than one games just for more tournament experience. I'm not sure if I'll get to play SC5, but I'm definitely going to play in the Tekken tourney. | |

| Yeah all finals will be streamed, though probably not all the matches Cant wait to see you again Kitch, especially for some Tekken games I will definitely enter the DOA tourny to help with numbers, but I dont know if I can enter other tournaments SC5 tournament might get crazy, nobody has any idea how many people will enter and it's only been given a one hour slot BTW if anyone needs help with overnight lodging etc then shoot me a PM, I can try sort out some deals with nearby hotels to get discounts | |

| Quick snap of the two A3 posters of DOA5 being given away for the DOA4 tourny Not THAT amazing and they aren't anything new, but still, they look quite nice when stuck up on your bedroom wall or door Haven't decided yet if both should be given to the winner, or if the winner will get to choose one and whoever comes 2nd place in tourny gets to takes the other one remaining There will be a small trophy for winner anyway, so these are just extras Sorry for the pic quality, they're waiting for the trophies to arrive before taking nicer shots to put up on the website, I snapped this off my phone quickly for the DOA communities | |

| lol, you will probably win if only random casual players sign up...
URGENT REQUEST! Anyone that is seriously thinking of coming down to Yorkshire Carnage this saturday to enter the DOA4 tournament needs to PM me so I can reserve places in the tournament!
There isn't an online registration system for DOA4 tournament so anyone can enter the tournament for lolz, which is what will probably happen on the day - I've been told there is a limit on the number of people we can register for the DOA tournament, so I want to give priority to experienced DOA players first
So to sum up: if you are an experienced DOA player (like, a little more than "casual") and you were planning to enter the DOA tournament on the day, then please send me a PM so I can reserve a place for you in the tournament before it gets filled up!
Thanks guys | |

| It was hella fun. Sure, there were some small complications but the whole event wet well.
I hope the DOA4 matches were filmed because they were pretty retarded.

| event was a disaster, although most people thought it was still fun thanks for coming down though Kitch, it was great seeing you again and yeah, lets not talk about the DOA4 tournament the livestream setup was working but for some unknown reason the stream never reached the twitchtv servers, maybe because of shoddy internet connection at the venue. so no match videos were recorded officially but I think I saw a guy recording on his phone so that might show up on youtube soon it was cool to see people cheering on the DOA4 finals though, they must have been getting hyped up for the other tournaments, probably. i think Kowaru won the tournament with his Jann Lee | |

| No, actually the guy playing Busa won. But yeah, the Manchester player know how to get hype. I'm still surprised I got third with Bass on a game I played less than 3 hours of, no joke. Guess that tells how much people take DOA seriously. By the way, thank Shahed from me for lending me his stick (I hope I got his name right) Hit me up if you need help with setting up next time. | |
