| Okay, I've heard a bunch of rumors about what changing the 'Age' setting in the options actually changes.
We all know that, in the original DOA, there was a setting that turned the 'bouncing breasts' off/on. Apparently the 'Age' setting was a replacement for this. Some even say that the higher the age, the more the character's breasts seem to 'bounce'
What I can't seem to find out is whether this setting actually changed anything in game, breasts or otherwise. Across message boards all over the internet, I haven't found one definite answer (with evidence) to back up the opinion either way
So, what's your take on this?

| I never really knew what the age setting in the previous DOA games was really about and yeah, there were rumours that the higher the age, the more bouncer the breast gets. Well quite a long time in DOA4, I used to play around with the age system. I tried to find the difference on putting the age on 1 and 99. And I couldn't really find the difference between them both.
I don't think putting your age up from 1 to 99 change the gameplay of the game. I think they put a age setting in the game because I guess they really want to know your age or something lool

| i for one never believed this,
mainly because i tested it, and it make little difference, plus the doa5 breast seem to bounce enough

I have also messed around with the age settings mostly to just see the woman's breasts move. There is no difference and nothing changes by the gameplay on any of the DOA games Chris. It's only purpose there is only for the girls bouncy breasts. For eg. if you want their breasts to become less "bouncy" then put the age to 1 if you want them to become very bouncy then put the age to 99. That's pretty much the only thing the age is used for, nothing else.

| I just find it funny how they put in an age setting which doesn't do anything. I mean, what's the point? Lool | |

A lot of people get irritated that Team Ninja still include pointless options that change nothing in-game, but only act as throwbacks to games past. As inside jokes go, this one still confuses people today And not a lot of people like that Then again, like the Aerosmith tracks, the inside jokes are Itagaki's thing, so I don't think it will be included in DOA5

| I always thought it was maybe to "lock" outfits which are too... pervy for children. But like everyone says, nobody cares about this option XD | |

| I don't think it'd be necessary in DOA5, but considering that in the DOAX games the bouncing was pretty exaggerated, some people used it to soften the effect, and make it more realistic (in reality, just less bouncy). | |

Then again, like the Aerosmith tracks, the inside jokes are Itagaki's thing, so I don't think it will be included in DOA5 Well, Itageki is a fan of boobs after all and he was slightly crazy when he was making the DOA games. When he was making DOA4, he perposely made all of the ninjas really good in that game and he said something like "Come on now, would a wrestler be able to beat a Ninja?"

| In DOA5, there will be a "height" setting, where you have to write in your own height. The larger your height is, the bigger the characters will be, make them become like giants.
Sick. | |
