| The danger zones for that level were really cool and as for the shelid guys they could be another danger zone | |

| Reading the Gamespot article isn't too inspiring. I can't say I agree with a lot of what he says.
Personally, my favorite part is how he tries to advertise the lack of extra features and modes as a selling point.

| Just the waay he's carrying himself and talking about DOA5 doesn't instill much confidence that the game will actually be, you know, good | |

| While we should keep up a optimistic view on things, we can't forget that, in reality, Team Ninja have screwed up in the past. NG3 wasn't greeted with much praise from anybody, DOA4 wasn't considered to be as good as past titles, and they have tarnished rep thanks to DOAX2 boob physics.
They did alright with DOAD, but that was a game on a then-new handheld, was a "comeback" to the fighting after two Xtreme games, and it wasn't something big like a proper main installment. They have to bring their A-game to DOA5, and we are getting some mixed singles about it. Is this for casual players, the hardcore competitive crowd, both? They need to sort themselves out.

Honestly, I don't think they really know who they're trying to appeal to, lol.

surely it is the idea of every game =P Maybe not every game, but most games. I think that's the trouble for developers. You need to appeal to both kinds of gamer (and everyone in between), as well as appeal to both fans and possible newcomers. They need a balance, and I don't think TN have found theirs yet.

| Agreed. When I first saw gameplay of DOA5 and saw the 'Action' camera and hit effects, I wasn't impressed. The first thing I thought was that TN were trying to reach a wider market with this one. Lets face it; they NEED to or else they're gonna' be struggling, but they should try and accomplish this without upsetting the long-time fans With a series that has spanned more than 10 years, trying to appeal to newcomers whilst keeping the veterans happy is no easy feat But, I bet my bottom dollar they'll pull it off | |

| I still have a felling that the game will be pushed to November or December because of TTT2 and they want to balance things out the best they can! And I actually want them to do that! I don't want a rushed game and it seems like September is a little early I wouldn't mind waiting a little longer for a better game | |

| It all depends on how much they have done right right now. If they got a a good chunck of it done like 60 maybe 70 percent than i see a September release if not they may push it back to October or November. | |
