Leifang kicks everyone ass In DOA5, I promise you!
Don't make that kind of promise because you know that Jann lee is gonna kick Lei Fang's butt once again [/quote] Leifang defeated him in DOA4, but was later saved by him when she was attacked by Alpha-152 I hope for 4 point hold because it makes the game harder and you have to be more precise when you counter instead of just spamming mid counter hold which many does!

| *looks at Lei Fei Fang* *looks at Hitomi* *Both jump Mila* Regarding the counters, I'm not sure. Mid holding in a three point system can be infuriating to play against and feels like easy mode when you catch something. It's not rewarding, at all.

| I do prefer the 3 point hold over the 4 point point hold but if they change than so be it | |

| No. We just have that name, "Mila". I want to know her nationality, her fighting style, what she looks like, her profession, her personality, etc. | |

| Okay, here is a game : how do you picture Mila (what she makes you think about immediately, not what you'd like her to be like) ? Soon, Team Ninja will reveal her (through a trailer, an artwork or any type of information). The closer to the truth (9 points) will win a cookie! Mine would be : Nationality : Korean Age : 23 Fighting style : Taekwondo Hair color : Dark auburn First costume main color : Green Personality : Cocky and determined Alignement (neutral, DOATEC or ninja) : neutral Profession : Ballet dancer Relationship (3 char. max) : Lei Fang (rival), Jann Lee (old friend at the orphan) and Donovan (?) It's just for fun, don't think, just say the first thing which come in mind. And when TN will officially introduce her, we will compare with our first thoughts.

| Well, we have 4 chinese characters, 5 japanese, but Korea is not represented yet. And Taekwondo is one of the most "important" fighting style in the world not represented yet too. | |

| Never fear guys!! There are some very interesting things that Yohei Shimbori have tweeted today and he is still talking about the holds system from yesterday.... - Quote :
- Continuing the hold talk from yesterday... In DOA, there are a lot of moves that target mid (as opposed to high or low). But if those mids are easily held, then, in effect, reduce your choices for offense while your opponent is in a critical state. Another way of putting is: even if you read your opponent correctly and strike, you can't keep your strike attacks going. Of course you still have throws so there's still some gameplay thought going on, but it's harder to keep the fun balanced. So I wracked my brains about different hold systems. I've seen some of your tweets talking about ideas we tried out earlier. We tried some pretty strange ideas too. We tried a bunch of things, but the one idea left standing was having a mid expert hold. This is what we used in the demo. I was worried about a few things though. Maybe 3-point holds would become the safe bet. Or people would choose 3-point holds just because that's the strategy their opponent used. That's why I waited until the end to try it out. To be continued... (A lot of you are asking for more character info. It's in the works! Hang on just a little longer!)
Yep, we will be seeing more characters soon!!
